Nintendo Announces New Console

Japanese gaming giants Nintendo made a surprising announcement today. They have announced a new handheld console, the Nintendo 2DS XL.

The Nintendo 2DS XL combines the simplicity of the Nintendo 2DS handheld console with the raw processing power of the Nintendo 3DS XL. An affordable alternative for confused customers.

“This new addition to Nintendo’s portable hardware line demonstrates our commitment to the hand-held market,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s President and COO. “New Nintendo 2DS XL sports a beautiful clamshell design and offers a great balance between price and performance.”

Now all that remains to be known is the various games that will be launched for this new console.

Mobile Internet Traffic Surpasses Desktop Usage For The First Time In History

 

Most of you reading this article right now are doing so by using your smartphone. It isn’t surprising because according to a recent study, mobile phone ownership has gone up from less than 1% in 1985 to 91% among adults worldwide.

This year however mobile Internet traffic statistics indicate that 51.3% traffic is due to mobile devices with 4.76% coming from tablets. It’s the first time in history that mobile devices have overtaken the traditional desktop computers and laptops in terms of Internet traffic .
